IRL is extending its service to the paint and coatings industry and its suppliers by offering a subscription service to the complete archive of newsletter issues dating back to 2001.

The CUBE Archive will be launched in January 2007 with about 2000 items of paint and coatings industry news and over 200 tables of market information taken from IRL's reports.

It will grow by being updated with the selection of fresh, major and unusual news items that have come to be the much-appreciated hallmark of the publication.

The archive will offer a number of different search options, allowing for structured, free-text and constrained searches. Data can be listed on-screen in a number of different ways and searches can be enhanced with a 'find similar items' mode, as seen in other modern searchable business intelligence systems.

Every aspect of the design has been conceived for a clean and clear user display and results are displayed in manageable list sizes for your convenience.

Furthermore, because the archive contains all of the free tables of market data taken from IRL's library of international coatings market reports, it offers additional insights, statistics and market shares which will provide extra information to add to your own business intelligence and research work.

All of the information can be extracted as unformatted text, making compatibility with your own software seamless.

Subscriptions start with an individual account for €240/year (or a site-wide account for €400/year) and rise to a worldwide licence for more than three sites for €1,000/year. We’re convinced that these low-cost options will be attractive to you, especially if you’re a small business or in an emerging economy.

This new resource will be invaluable to anyone researching the corporate and market aspects of the paint and coatings scene and should be attractive to anyone associated with the coatings industry as well as investment companies, brokerage houses, libraries and other information providers.

Receipt of the CUBE newsletter still remains completely free. You pay the subscription charge only for the archive facility. If you do not wish to have archive access, then you need not do anything else and will continue to receive the newsletter in the usual way.
